Suffering With UTI And Ulcer On Cervix. Took Levofloxacin And Travid. Still Have Pain. Solution?

I have been suffering with a UTI (organism diagnosed as Klebsiella) since May 23, 2013 and there also is an ulcer on the cervix.
Took Levofloxacin 500 OD for 5 days then Tarivid 200 mg BD for 10 days. Break for 5 days and now, Tarivid 200 OD at bed time for the last 1 week.
Though symptoms reduced with the first 5-10 days of meds and no infection is being shown in the urine culture. I still have pain down there. There is pain in urination and continuous discomformt.
Please suggest what could this be and how to find a proper treatment for this?

After levofloxacin now you are on ofloxacin for UTI. Both can be used for UTI but belongs to same group. You could have changed to other group of antibiotic expection any resistance.
Since no infection now with culture sensitive, Take plenty of fluids to flush any colonies in the tract and for more antibiotic exposure, anti Inflamarory drug like Paracetamol 650 mg for pain and inflamation. If the discomfort does not reduce in one or two days then consult your doctor and change the antibiotic. Hope i answered all your query. Wish you good health.
