Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello! Welcome to HealthcareMagic!

I could understand your concerns regarding your problem. Presently, you're suffering with migraine type of headaches. If I would be your treating physician, I would recommend you:

1) First, control the initial attack with tablet Naproxen sodium 500 mg. If it's not responding, use tablet headset to abort the acute attack.
2) Secondly, use tab Amitriptyline continuously for 2-3 months as prophylaxis. That means it reduces number of attacks, severity of attacks and duration of attacks. Slowly, you will be completely free from migraine.
3) Main cause for migraine headache is due to stress. So, please avoid stressful situations and practice healthy lifestyle modifications like doing regular physical activity, healthy food habits, maintaining good sleep and hygiene.

Hope this clarifies your concerns. Thank you for the query.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Bhagawan Rajana, Psychiatrist
