Suggest Cause And Remedy For Pounding Heart With Dry Heaving

Last October I took some homeopathic cough medicine I d never tried before as I had a bad flu/cough and went to sleep. In the middle of the night I awoke on all fours in bed, heart pounding and dry heaving. I vomited a little and it passed. I threw away the cough syrup and figured it was a reaction. However, since this time (6 months now) I am awakened with the same symptoms (though not as severe). This happens as frequently as once per week or as little as once per month. I occurred last night and it s always the same: suddenly awake, heart pounding ready to vomit and then it goes away. It s alarming and if connected to the syrup, makes no sense. Any ideas? (age 43, female, healthy)

HI
Well come to HCM
First this could be allergic cough which does not need any specific treatment this comes around even without the treatment, second this may not be the reaction or side effects of medicine that you have taken this could be again the same allergic manifestation, hope this helps.
