Suggest Cause For Acid Reflux With Bowel Movements & Thin Stools In Patients With Inguinal Surgeries

I have had 4 right ingunial surgeries in the last 5 yrs. The last one I had was in Aug. 2011. Two holes were r epaired. Since then I have had terrible acid reflux, bloating stomach, pain in the stomach going up into the throat, and most recently bowel movements every 4 days, thin stools, I am not really hungry and when I do eat the pain in my stomach starts right away. I have lost 8 lbs in three weeks. Help please!!! Karen

HI
Thank for asking query to HCM, Your concern will be appreciated.
I had gone through the history given here, of course you must be acid reflux disease but it may not be due to the history of surgery you had gone though but it seems to be separate disease.
It is not the single reason are there for hyperacidity but several reasons are there, like changed life style, drug history (Medicine ) stress, diet, smoking, alcohol, chronic illness these could be the causes of acid peptic disease.
Hyperacidity can be well managed with PPI drug and the best molecule is Omeprazole 40 mg once in day and it has to be taken for four week, if this is the history of constipation then you can try Isabgol powder along with Domperidone 20 mg once in day, drink more water and have fiber containing diet, hope this information helps.
