Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 8 year old boy is c/o waves of extreme mid-epigastric pain, no fever, 4 hours post-prandial. His heartbeat is also very irregular, brady-cardic at the same time. I am tossing about whether to take him to the ER or to watch in case it is only a bug.
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. Your 8 year old complaining of epigastric pain. and you feel there is change in the heart beat, it may be due to the anxiety. But for pain you should consult a doctor for pain relief, to prevent the hike in the midnight. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms ranitidine, domperidone, and antacid gel. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
