my mother undergone incisional hernia surgery (meshoplasty) . a prosthetic mesh was used by the surgeon and we were told that it ll converted into a tissue like substance. surgery was done on 24th feb 2012 but sometimes my mother experiences pain in that area. why is it so?
Hi, It seems that there might be having adhesion to fascia, muscles and intestines giving rise this pain particularly while stretching and some movements. Mesh might have well adjusted in abdomen. Nothing to worry, this is common. Ok and take care.
