my six year old daughter is complaing of a loud poundin gin her ears which is keeping her and the entire family awake at night. She complained of this in the past and I took her to a doctor who told us it was just her heart beat and was nothing to worry about. It seemed to resolve for a while but is now back. The noise is so loud that it is scaring her and keeping her awake at night. I've noted tinnitus that can cause this but am puzzled that it seems to come and go. I've tried to tell her it's nothing but she is very persistent and scared.
