It seems from the history that you are prescribed wysolone tablet for inflammation of optic nerve. Wysolone is a steroid and is usually given in a dose of 1-2 mg per kg body weight and tapered over 3-6 months depending on the underlying cause. In some vascular causes it needs to be continued on low rise like 5-10 mg per day for long time. Steroids however should be taken under supervision of your doctor to prevent long term complications. Hence do write to me back with diagnosis and treatment advised by your doctor.
Thank you
