Hello, I am a 54 year old female and had an upper eyelids blepharoplasty 5 weeks ago (for droopy eyelids). My pupils are small and constricted, not dilating properly even in reduced light. I don t use drugs, the only medication I take several times a week is half a tablet of Somnil at bedtime for insomnia. I should point out that I never paid my pupils any attention before so I can t tell if they became so small after the surgery. I just started to look at my eyes more closely after the procedure. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. The small pupils may be the congenital occurrence, because they are found recently, and do not have any symptoms like eye sight problem. Any how if you want to clarify the doubt, you can consult an ophthalmic surgeon for diagnosis. Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods to have good health and resistance. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
