SIR , I AM SUFFERING FROM ACNE FROM LAST 3-4 MONTHS ......MY DOCTOR PRESCRIBED ME ACNE GEL N SOME TABLETS ....BUT I DON'T SEE ANY RESULT ....THEN I GO TO CHEMIST AND HE GIVE ME AZAX 500 TABLETS ....AND TELL TO ME TO TAKE 3 TABLETS FOR 3 DAYS ....AND IT WORKS ...

SO IS THIS TABLET IS FINE FOR TREATING ACNE ?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain Azax 500 contains Azithromycin that is an antibiotic and is given for treatment of acne and in case if it has helped in improving acne you can consult a Dermatologist and get evaluated and after a proper clinical evaluation he can advise you to continue taking Azithromycin..
You can also take topical anti acne and antibiotic treatment like:
Washing your face with Salicylic acid containing facewash..
You can apply creams containing Benzoyl Peroxide and Clindamycin containing gels..
You can apply Azaelic acid creams..
Exfoliate your skin twice a week to unclog the pores and remove dead skin..
You can also do cool compresses over the face..
You can also drink plenty of water and avoid oily food..
You should avoid sun exposure but if you are exposed to sun apply a non comedogenic sunscreen lotion..
