My 14 year old daughter has had a lingering headache for 4 days, yesterday she felt like her lungs were on fire and last night she had 4 small nose bleeds. She has a history of migraines, but has tried treximet & ibuprophin the last 4 days and those haven t helped at all. This morning her headache is worse yet. Should I be concerned/
You should change the medications, take Naproxen and high dose of aspirin after prescription. Take tab pantaprazol also for gastric problem after prescription. - Avoid noise and bright light, lie down her in a quit and dark room - Massage her scalp or temples - Place a cold cloth over her forehead or behind the neck - Give plenty of water to her - Take some magnesium - Avoid foods high in histamine like aged cheeses, fermented food, smoked fish and cured meats - Give coffee and tea to her, caffeine can help to reduce headache - Try acupunture - Relax her with yoga - Avoid strong smell - Sip some ginger tea
