It is not wise to take pain killers without proper diagnosis. You need clinical correlation and investigations like routine hemogram, random blood sugar, liver function test, renal function test, urine RE/ME, X-ray L/S spine (AP/Lateral),serum calcium, vitamin D level, ultrasound of abdomen, thyroid profile. It is important to know age and sex of patient. MRI of L/S spine can be done if needed. Proper treatment depend upon findings.
