hello sir i am using glyco 6 every night and i think it's 7-8th day today, but there is no satisfying result i could see, cream irritates me but all acnes are dried, that's the only good thing but scars are not fading. Should i move to another medicine for scars??
Hi, Thanks for writing to us. Creams like glycolic acid or tretinoin gel etc can be used to reduce superficial scars. These would reduce marks too. However these would not help in reducing deep scars. In such cases procedures like microdermabrasion, dermarollers, peels, subscision or lasers are required If you are having irritation with the cream, discontinue its use for few days. Once redness subsides, start using it again in a lesser quantity.
Also seven to eight days time is too less to see visible improvement in scars. Use the cream atleast for a month or two. Hope this helped. Take care
