Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have stomach ulcer for about 15 year. If I don t consump medicine like Omeprazole or other medicine to control my acidity, it is not possible to tolerate. I used to consult Doctor for many times but no good result. My problem is High acidity, feel like vomiting, burning sensation of stomach
You have to avoid the risk factors that cause ulcers in the stomach. Like NSAIDS, alcohol, caffeinated drinks, anxiety, insomnia or h pylori infection etc.
A hiatal hernia or Barrett's oesophagus also may cause repeated acid reflux. Get it done Upper GI endoscopy and biopsy.
Use tablet Nexium before breakfast for one week. If symptoms not improved please consult your gastroentrologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
