Suggest Medication To Control Blood Sugar Levels And Weight Gain

MY HBA1C IS 7.9 AND AVERAGE GLUCOSE IS 180 I HV BEEN TAKIN METFORMIN 500MGX2 for the last three months but to no avail their is spike in sugar after meals it has even touched 250 fasting reading is around 126, having hypertension since 2002 now taking concor am 5 the bp is under control my height is 5ft 8in and weight is 89 kindly sugget me

I walk for 2kms daily and am engaged in a sedentary job
iam a non smoker teetotaller and occasionaly take non veg.

Hi, I had gone through your query and understood your concerns.

The sugar level you have mentioned are higher than normal.

You need either increase of dose of present medication or addition of new drug to the present medication after discussing with treating doctor.

There is no problem with your diet and maintain exercise daily.
