As your already on oral medicines you keep a watch on the diet also.
Consume small fibre rich meals rather than 3 big meals.
Reduce consumption of refined cereals like rice, white breads consume more of whole grains sticking to small portion of cereal.
Avoid juices, sweetened drinks, carbonated drinks ,starches like potatoes,yams.
If still sugars are not controlled than you can have a
diabetologist opinion he can help you out with right
insulin. Its is v important to have snacks ( like a fruit, crackers,vegetable salad, boiled beans , sandwich, milk, buttermilk )in between meal for people who are on insulin ,and more over.... sir it will take little time to get adapted to insulin.
