Hi. I have had a tubal ligation done 6 months ago after my 3rd child. I am suffering with severe acne on my chin an forehead areas. Prior to my pregnancy used a combined oral contraceptive which cleared my acne. I am 27 years old and am currently using anti acne facial products. Please advise what medication can be used to clear the acne.
I understand from your query that you are havig mild to moderate acne.
Wash your face with a pH balanced face wash, preferably a one containing 1-2% salicylic acid. You may apply a gel containing clindamycin 1% in the morning over pimples and Benzoyl peroxide 2.5% gel at night over pimple prone areas.
Avoid creams on your face. Avoid oil on your scalp. Diet is important. Avoid milk and milk products like cheese, chocolates, sweets, sugary foods and drinks. Eat a lot of fruits rich in vitamin A (anything with lot of color).
Hope this helped. Take care.

Suggest Medicines For Acne.
Hello, Welcome to healthcare magic. I understand from your query that you are havig mild to moderate acne. You may apply a gel containing clindamycin 1% in the morning over pimples and Benzoyl peroxide 2.5% gel at night over pimple prone areas. If acne is not well controlled with topicals alone, you could take oral antibiotics like doxycycline or azithromycin under the supervision of a dermatologist. Avoid creams on your face. Avoid oil on your scalp. Diet is important. Avoid milk and milk products like cheese, chocolates, sweets, sugary foods and drinks. Eat a lot of fruits rich in vitamin A (anything with lot of color).
