hello doctor.. my mother 67years old having diabetics.since 20 years,and suffering hands burning heavy.. now using medicine, glycomet trio-2, but no control her sugar levels., around 300/400, doctor suggested insulin. but she not interested /fears to take injection and wants medicine.. oral.. not able to move...properly.. what can i do.. is there any medicine oral medicine to control her sugar levels.
Dear user, hi! if glycomet trio 2 , twicw a day , is not able to give good glycemic control, then definitely the answer is insulin. if you want to try newer drugs like liraglutide you can. or linagliptin. but better would be to start one time insulin at least to begin with. regards!
