hello i m suffering from acute acne. whenever i consult a doctor, he put me on medication which means everytime i have to take lots of minoz capsules and once i leave the treatment , the eruption of pimples again start. is there any permanent treatment?
I can understand you concern and frustration over acne. However, there is no one time solution for acne.
Acne is the commonest skin problem in young but it behaves in a differently in different individuals. While some may have mild acne only occasionally others may have severe or moderately severe acne, that can erupt continuously, one after the other.
Topical treatment can be in the form of Topical Antibacterials like Benzoyl peroxide gel/Clindamycin gel and Topical Retinoids e.g Adapalene gel.
Oral antibiotics work well for inflammatory acne and bring about rapid control. These can be doxycycline or azithromycin or minocycline.
Finally, oral retinoidse.g Isotretinoin is the best antiacne medications for severe acne or acne unresponsive to traditional antiacne medications.
