Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist 's  Response
i like to suggest that if this pain is acute take complete bedrest for at least 10days in a firm mattress. if the pain is intolerable u can take some painkillers but it have some side effects and as i m a physiotherapist i like to mention that physiotherapy is best for this condition. physiotherapist may go for traction , IFT & manual therapy like spinal mobilization is most effective. and at home u may go for Hot fomentaion twice daily which will give u relief
