Suggest Remedies For Pain Due To Fracture In C5

I fractured my C5 and another? vertabrae last week and confirmed by X-Rays. However I'm in pain but discharged from the hospital on the day and told to return nexy week? I am not in a neck brace or told what I can and cvannot do. Can you advise.
