Suggest Remedies For Sciatica Pain
Hi my father 65 yr old has sciatica pain since 15 days now ... He is taking gabapin 300 , etosaid 90 , ultraset and ocid 20. Is this all ok ? He is complaining of constipation and loss of appetite now. Pls suggest as to he shud take complete bed rest or move around a lil bit. Thanks Nishma jain India

It appears that now the problem is the loss of appetite, and want to move little bit.
As it is a case of duration of 15 days, it is the acute sciatica, so absolute bed rest is a must at least for few days.
The constipation and lack of appetite may be due to the drugs ha is using. i advise you to consult your doctor, for follow up.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms ofloxacin, domperidone, and injection of vitaminB1,6,and 12 for 10 consecutive days.
