Suggest Remedies To Avoid Pregnancy After Having Unprotected Sex

Hello,

I am a bit concerned, as I have had unprotected sex with my boyfriend and I had only just finished my period and taken tablet one of my pill pack. Do I need to take the morning after pill? However this did occurr 4/5 days ago, so I know I need to obtain the pill quickly if I need it.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, as it is a piece of mind and I have never let this happen before and felt slightly embrassed/ashamed going and acquiring advice from my local pharmacy.

Kind Regards,

Claire .

Hi

If you have been taking your hormonal pills regularly, then you are effectively protected against pregnancy.

Since 5 days have passed after intercourse, the effectiveness of emergency contraception is definitely very less and not reliable.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards
