Suggest Remedy For A Nerve Damage In The Head
I will be having a nerve block in the left side of my head in 3 weeks time I have been on 2-10mg tablets of oxycontin for 15 years I am worried about side affects of coming off them if the block works I am 59 years old and had a car accident 16 years ago causing nerve damage in the left side of my head

Regarding your concern, I would explain that a slow reduce in the dose until stopping oxycontin is necessary to reduce withdrawal symptoms.
I hope everything will be OK with surgery.
Nevertheless, you should know that there are a lot of treatment options like antiepileptics, which are more suitable for the long term treatment of the pain and without the adverse effects of oxycontin.
