Suggest Remedy For A Painful Mole Near The Nose

Hello im a 23 year old male my name is david ever since i was lil i had a mole on the side of my nose now for the past 5 days the mole was becoming very painful and today i saw a white head in it so i popped it and just hard white stufff came out. but the mole is still very sore

You may be having furunculosis which is an infection of the hair follicle.It can be treated with topical antibacterial creams like mupirocin.You must avoid pricking or fiddling with them. A Short course of oral antibiotic like azithromycin can also be taken I'd it does not subside.

Hi,

It seems that the mole of the nose may be infected. That is why it is painful. You consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis.

I would suggest...

- short course of antibiotics
- antiinflammatory drugs
- apply antibiotic cream
- after clearance of infection, the mole may be removed by electrocautery done under local anaesthesia.
