Hi, blood in urine at your age could be due to urinary tract infections, stone or tumor. As you are also diabetic, infection of urinary tract could be common. You can get a urine examination done, particularly look for pus cells and bacteria in urine. If it is negative, get an ultrasound done to rule out any stone or mass anywhere in the urinary tract.
