Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband has VERY smelly and loose, frequent stool, embarrassingly so limiting our ability to have any normal life. He has previously undergone left-sided colon removal with two colostomies which were reversed. He has been put on cholyestyramine and other fiber supplements with no help. A recent colonoscopy was negative. Where do we go from here?
is obviously a physiological problem maybe cause by the shortening of the colon. normally these will pass in time. loperamid, cholestyramine, diet should work. you cand also try debridat (you find this in France )
