Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...deviated uvula? possibly in existance since 18 months ago, although I have not been spending much time looking at the back of my throat! so can t be quite sure! is that something to worry about? when your 12 nerve cranial exam is absolutely normal?
It may be seen in anatomical problems like deviated nasal septum or adenoids with compression or peritoncilar infection. Neurological problems like ninth or 12 th cranial nerve injury. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. If CN examination normal and no symptoms like nasal regurgitation or voice changes then no problem.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
