Diabetologist 's  Response
Dear sir i can understand your concern.

Metformin is a very good but the most common side effect is gastric intolerance.

I suggest you to consider taking sustained release formulation in metformin which is having less intolerance when compared to regular formulation.

Daily do exercise and follow balanced diet for a better diabetes control along with your medication.
Kindly speak with treating doc for further dose adjustments.

Hope I was able to help you.
If you have any further question feel free to write me back. I will be happy to help.
Take care.
Best Regards.
