MY FATHER IS 65 YEARS OLD AND THE FOLLOWING IS THE REPORT? PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO REDUCE THE CHOLESTEROL?

Hello

Report suggests increased LDL level and cholesterol level is mildly raised .

Your father need further investigations like complete liver function test,,RBS,ultrasound of abdomen.

In such conditions,I suggest diet and life style changes.If condition persists then tablet atorvastatin 10 mg at night after dinner can be prescribed.

He should avoid red meat and high fat milk products.Avoid alcohol if he take it.
He should do exercise and go for walking.
Take lot of fibres in diet.
