Suggest Remedy For Pain In The Broken Arm

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...Hi, I am a 30 yr old female and I broke my right arm back in 1997. I had a metal plate and 8 screws instered in my arm to assit with the healing as a bone chip was missing. I have not had much problem with the arm other than a little weakness, and if I hit the arm just right I have a litte more than average pain. Over the last few days I have had extreme pain in my arm, which has limited use of my arm. I have had it wrapped trying to add pressure to it, which helps a litte, as well as putting a heating pad on it several times a day. The heating pad gives very little releif. I am wondering if something has happened to cause the screws to become loose or the plate to shift and that is causing my pain. Is something like that even possiable? If not any suggestions as to what would be causing the extreme pain 14 years later? Thanks so much.
