After treatment for asthma and bronchitis, I felt a popping in my right rib cage and pain constantly which worsened if I bend forward, cough or breath in deeply. I had a repeat chest xray and then rib xray followed by another chest xray, all of which were negative. Have I strained the inercostal muscles or displaced a rib? What can I do about the above.Please note that I am currently still on Prednisone 20mg per day but have completed 2 different courses of antibiotics. I am still coughing esp. in the am but feel less breathless.
