Suggest Remedy For Raised Itchy Rashes On Knee

i am 47 diagnosed with sarcoidosis 1 year ago, treated originally with 50mg of prednisone a day for 6 mos - have been reducing the dosage slowly over past 6 mos - til the last 2 weeks have been down to 0. about 3 weeks ago i got a rash on my legs near my knees - but on the outsides and inner calf (not inside the crease) and also on my upper forearms. my primary care doctor treated it with a topical ointment - the rash on my legs is still there and moves up and down my legs- it itches terribly and i have bruises all around it. the rash is not a typical raised rash but rather appears to be below the skin - if i press on the red areas - they turn white and then the red reappears - like with sunburn - but this is not sun related at all. - any ideas?
