Suggest Remedy For Sore Thorat & Upper Palate

I have had a sore throat for 3 and a half days. It is sore in the upper palate as well and sometimes I can feel pain going to my ear. I have had some headaches as well and feel warm but don t register a fever. Could this possibly be strep throat? I don t believe so. When this first started I couldn t eat because it was a stingy raw feeling. Prescription ibuprofen helps take the pain away.
