Hello ..Iam using birth control pills (triquilar 21) to avoid pregnancy from 6 months. My doctor suggest me to take a pill from 5th day of my periods. But i have a doubt that does it leads to cause pregnancy if I participate in sex from 26th day of my periods upto first day of my periods with out using any pills.
Since you are taking BC pills, Triquillar 21, you are suggested to take the pill everyday on the same time for the best efficacy. Triquillar 21 is to be taken on Day one of your periods and continue to take it for whole month and start with new pack once the pack get finished. Birth control pills prevent pregnancy, they do not prevent sexually transmitted diseases. You should always use a barrier contraceptive method like condom to stay on the safer side.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
