Hello Doc,
I have taken minoz medication last year for two months as I had acne. Now again acne has came out along with small pimples. Can u siggest the dose and side effects of this tablet as my doctor told that it can be continued only for two months as excess intake can lead to pigmentation or black spots.
Thanks,
Disha
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have facial acne which is due to hormonal changes , stress , oily skin and side-effect of medications. Minoz has side effects like skin eruptions, nausea, vomiting, loose motions, headache, photo-sensitivity. I would suggest you to discontinue that medication for sometime. Wash your face with face wash containing benzoyl peroxide then apply cream containing azelaic acid which is safe and very effective. If condition doesn't get better in a month then consult dermatologist for proper diagnosis and treatment . Doctor may prescribe retinoid ointment and antibiotic like clindamycin and you can go for laser therapy and chemical peeling as well.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
