Hi, i have gone through your query and understood you concerns.
In diabetes, first tablets are tried from lower dose to the optimal doses along with Diet and exercises. But with time the insulin production from the body completely reduces to zero and then Insulin is the only option.
There are some groups of medicine which supplement action of insulin and helps in reduction of the dose of insulin. But there is no replacement.
Hope this guides you. For any other query you can write to us. We will be happy to answer you. Wish you good health. Thank you. Dr Phanindra Dulipala. Diabetologist.
