i haven't slept for 20 months at all without some sleeping pills. Now they don't work well at all, sometimes not at all. i don't shut down when i am extremely tired at all. i have to wait till the pill kicks in. i have tearing eyes and have had a some problems with my muscles. so far i havn't got dementia, but i could swear i am getting it. please help
thanks for posting this query. Most of sleeping pills have tendency to form addiction, my recommendation is that one should try to figure out the exact cause of disturbed sleep and remove it. Also maintaining sleep hygiene (no tea/coffee after 5 pm,light dinner , little exercise after dinner,gap of at least 2 hours between dinner and sleeping,no reading or watching TV when on bed etc.) can help you a lot.Following these may help you in getting rid of your problem.Poor sleep can affect your memory and attention.A detail sleep study (PSG) or actigraphy may help in identifying the exact cause of insomnia.
