Suggest Tips For Diet Prior To Colonoscopy

We are doing prep for colonoscopy tonight.my husband has has limited his diet for three days to soft items and no meat. He has consumed 3/4 of the liquid prep and his BM in yellow clear liquid with no formed stool. Has he consumed enough so we can stop the prep. Thank you.

It is preferable to finish the full preparation even if the BM is yellow clear liquid. This will ensure completeness of the colon cleaning and better visualization of the colon.
Clear liquids which can be seen through a transparent glass are the only things that are allowed during and after bowel prep. There should not be any residue and therefore even milk is not allowed.
That leaves you with choice of plain water and coconut water apart from some juices if possible.
take care, wish you good health
