Suggest Treatment For COPD And Arrhythmia When On Digoxin
My mother is has COPD and Arrhythmia. For her heart, she is taking Digoxin, Xarleto, and Toprol. She complained about a strange feeling in her chest and checked her Oxygen/pulse with a pulse oximeter. Her pulse is around 52-56. Should I take her to the hospital? She took her Digoxin and Xarleto 4 1/2 hours ago. She just took her Toprol.

When ever any one is on digoxin therapy bradichardia iss the main side effect. Pulse rate is always to be monitoured. Patient need to be kept under watch. If requered she is to be hospitalised.
