Hi Doctor! My wife has been diagnosed with Placenta Previa and suffers from bleeding once in a week since last two weeks. She is around 20 weeks pregnant. Although the baby is developing quite fine as per latest target scan, we are a bit concerned about the safety of both mother and baby. Please advise whether or not we shall continue with the pregnancy? Thanks
If the mother and baby are doing well and the bleeding is not profuse, better to continue Avoid straining Plenty of warm drinks Avoid sex Also rule out adherence of placenta by scan or mri which if there, ll need caution
