Suggest Treatment For Acid Splash In Stomach

Hi there, for about 6 months now I have had discomfort in my stomach including very loud noises coming from my stomach, bad discomfort and sometimes sharp pains in my side and shortness of breath. I saw my doctor and he said it was the acid splashing up in my stomach and gave me pills. These pills have not worked and since the ongoing discomfort in my stomach, when I wipe after going for a poop there is a slight yellow mucus on the toilet paper, it only takes about 2 wipes and thats it. Even if my poop is brown the toilet paper will always have a light yellow mucus on it, what is this? Please help.

Hi,

I have gone through your query.
From the symptoms, it is suggestive of Inflammatory Bowel Disease(IBD). As pills for acid are not working, IBD is most probable cause. It is of two types:
Chrohn's Disease.
Ulcerative colitis.

But these need to be diagnosed. I advise you to consult a local Gastroenterologist for clinical examination and Investigations like Colonoscopy and may be Upper GI endoscopy.
In the meantime, for pain, Mefenemic acid with Dicyclomine can be taken to reduce the pain.

Do consider a positive feedback as a credit to my work. Let me know if you have any further questions.
