Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that you have got a side effect of protein intake in the form of acne and due to it there has been recurring episodes of acne..
You should take an anti-acne treatment as well as consult a physician and get advised for a medically approved protein supplement if you want to take in future so that it will not cause side effect..
For acne you can wash your face with Salicylic and
glycolic acid containing face wash..
Apply a combination of benzolyl peroxide gel and clindamycin or
erythromycin containing gel.
Do cool compresses over the pimples or the red marks to reduce inflammation..
You can apply Retin -A get that is a retinoid but only once at night time in a thin layer..
Take
multivitamin supplements, drink plenty of water, limit sun exposure, avoid oily foods and maintain proper cleanliness of face..
Do not scratch the pimples as it can cause infection and increase inflammation..
In case if still there is no improvement
consult a Dermatologist and he can advise you to take
oral antibiotics and retinoids and also go for treatments like
Microdermabrasion or
Chemical peels..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
