i have really bad acne on just my left cheek. I am already on the contraceptive pill for the last two months, the first month it helped me clear my acne but now it isn't. I am applying clindamycin at night and a neem pack in the morning. what should i do
Understanding your concern. As per you query you have acne on face mainly on left cheek which is because of sebaceous gland under the hair follicle , when sebum get accumulated in clogged duct of sebaceous gland along with dead skin and bacteria they produce acne. I would suggest you to wash you face 2-3 times a day with mild soap and warm water to prevent the accumulation of oil ,dust and bacteria on your face. Keep applying Clindamycin gel. Apply vitamin E oil at night. Avoid greasy creams ,use water based products. Don't pick or touch acne. Apply kojic acid cream on face. If acne still persists consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor may prescribe ointments containing benzyol peroxide, azelaic acid or retinoids. Sometimes doctor may also prescribe antibiotics.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
