Suggest Treatment For Acne

Hi, I'm a 21 year old female and in the last two years I have begun to suffer from quite bad acne. My doctor put me on the contraceptive pill femodene as it's apparently meant to help improve acne. But I've been on it for two months now and I haven't seen any improvements, and I was just wondering if maybe it's because it takes longer to work, or is it just not ever going to work if it hasn't already?

Any advice would be useful. Thank you
