Suggest Treatment For Acute Abdominal Pain And Continuous Headache
Hello doctor. From past few days i am having motions with acute abdominal pain and continuous headache at night. Shortly i discovered myself with fever, chills and body ache while the earlier problems still continues. Can you suggest me which disease it is pointing? Thank you
Hi thanks for asking question. First to rule out different causes do your stool examination and CBC. Here mostly you have infective enteritis. The stool might show parasites egg like that of amebic dysentry or giardiasis trophozoites. The stool also having pus cells if having dysentry like infection. In the CBC if high total count with neutrophilia then infective enteritis suspected. Do your Widal test from serum to rule out typhoid. In between maintain your health with taking semisolid diet with more water and fruits. Avoid excess spicy food. Maintain your hydration. Mostly infective etiology is there so you have to take cefixime like antibiotic to treat it for 6 days. I hope this will help you. Thanks.
