General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

The enlarged adenoids causing complications as you have mentioned about hearing loss means the Eustachian tube opening in nasopharynx is getting occluded.
She can be given the following medicines after consulting your Doctor for proper doses as per the weight of the child.
- Antibiotic.
Good anti-inflammatory like Ibuprofen.
- Nasal decongestant drops.
- Evaluation for hearing loss by getting Audiometry to know the cause.
Further evaluation and management as per the investigations and clinical response to the routine medicines.
Oral steroids as per the per kg doses and duration.
- If the medical line does not help then surgery may be needed.
Wait for 3 weeks of medical management.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, ENT & General Surgeon
