my husband is addicted toalcohol, he drinks half a botle daily. he has been drinking probbaly for 10 years but nowi thinkits affecting his brain as he is always involved in things like swapping,doinf filthy dirty talks on bed,he is not ready toleave alcoholany ways. can you helpmein advising somemedicineordoctor whomi can go&meet personally for his addiction &obsession

Alcohol addiction require multi modalities approach.

If i am your doctor then i would like to do treat you following way.

1. Assessment of alcohol addiction by using AUDIT scale.
2.Motivational interviewing and counseling.
3. Treatment of medical complication and detoxification of alcohol to prevent withdrawal symptoms during indoor stay
4.rehabilitation and counseling for total abstinence.

Indoor treatment is must for remain abstinence from alcohol in withdrawal stage.

Consult psychiatrist or De addiction and rehab center for better outcome.
