Suggest Treatment For An Extra Lumbar Vertebra

My question is spine related. An X-ray result showed that I have an extra lumbar vertebra, L6, which is partially fused to my sacrum on the right side.
My pelvis is rotated and I wonder if that could be the cause.
I am a wrestler in college, and over the past few years my pain has progressively worsened to the point that wrestling causes me a lot of pain. I can handle pain, but what is worse is I cannot move my body like normal, I feel like my hip and back becomes immobile when trying to wrestle.
I have tried abdominal and glute strengthening, seen multiple chiros and OMT's and have been doing physical therapy for this for over 2 years with absolutely no relief.
I am frustrated to the point that I dont even know what to do anymore. Quitting wrestling is not an option I am willing to consider. I just need to know if there is any possibility whatsoever of surgery treating my condition? Anyone I have spoke with wont even go down that road and dismisses the option of surgery as a treatment, saying it most likley wont help. I just need to know if there is any hope in surgery fixing my sacralization and allowing me to move and wrestle without restriction or pain? any feedback would be much appreciated.
