I have just been told by my doctor that I have ectopi in my cervix. She suggest cryotherapy. I don't have any cancerous or precancerous cells. I also have no STDs. I have also been diagnosed with a 4ccm left ovarian cyst. I was on the birth control pill and never had any complications. I stopped the birth control pill September 2008. And my problems started may 2010. Doctors kept ignoring my symptoms of bleeding during and after intercourse until I demanded a specialist referral. And now I'm being diagnosed with the above in march 2011! I'm 27 with no children. I weigh 115 lb and 5'2. What could have caused the cervical ectopi? Will the birth control treatment for my ovarian cyst make my ectopi worse? Is cryotherapy safe or will it decrease my chances of having a child in the future. Please help me with my questions or shall I say essay. Thank you sooo much in advance.
